It’s frustrating when your earbuds refuse to connect. But don’t worry. In most cases, you can get them working again in just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to quickly fix connection issues.
Is this happening with your earbuds?
- Your earbuds don’t show up in your phone or laptop’s Bluetooth list
- Your earbuds won’t pair and stay in pairing mode
- Your earbuds connect but no sound plays
1. Check Bluetooth and Battery
Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone, laptop, or tablet. Also check that your charging case has power. The indicator light on the case should be on. Place the earbuds in the case for at least 10 minutes to ensure they are charged.
2. Make Sure They’re Not Connected to Another Device
Earbuds always reconnect to the last paired device with Bluetooth turned on. If you can’t find them on your phone, they may already be connected to your laptop or tablet. Turn Bluetooth off on other devices, put the earbuds back in the case, then reconnect to your phone.
3. Reset Your Earbuds
If your earbuds still won’t connect, a factory reset usually solves the issue. Resetting clears old pairing data and puts the earbuds back in pairing mode. View all reset guides here.
Extra tip: Connecting to a laptop
After resetting, go to your laptop’s Bluetooth settings, enable Bluetooth, and search for devices. If you still don’t see them, turn off Bluetooth on your phone first, place the earbuds back in the case, close the lid for 10 seconds, then reopen and try pairing again.
